We’ve all heard a lot of things about the importance of having a good dress sense, although the saying “you’re addressed the way you dress” might not be true all the times cos we all know looks can be deceptive. But the impression your dress sense makes on people cannot be ignored.
Here are five mistakes you need to correct if you still make them and for the ladies, tips for your boos and bros.
No 1. Dirty sneakers
Foot wears draw more attention than some people think and they speak volumes about your dress sense. Make a good impression by wearing clean sneakers and foot wears in general.
No 2. Sagging.
For goodness sake, underwears are called underwears beacuse they are meant to be covered by your shirts and trousers and nobody is interested in seeing your boxers.
The popular notion is that this originated in prisons where prisoners are not allowed to use belts, but I don’t know of any laws preventing anybody who’s not incarcerated from using belts. It’s just bad that some men still dress this way.
No 3. Socks on sandals
Wearing socks on sandals is a common mistake some men make. Sandals are designed to be free and allow your feet to breathe, especially during the hot weather. Wearing socks kinda defeats the aim and it doesn’t look that good.
No 4. Big Jeans.
Don’t wear jeans that are too big for you. It just doesn’t look and you’ll need to use your belt to make it tight thereby creating an extra fold of fabric in front of your pelvic region which might give a wrong impression.
Wear jeans that are your size, and how you know if it’s the right size is if only two fingers or less can fit in between your hip and the waist band, then you know it’s the right size.
No 5. Jeans that are too tight.
There’s no doubt that skinny jeans looks good on most people. But when it’s so tight that the whole crotch area becomes very prominent, then it’s wrong.
Skinny jeans nice and looks good on most people but when it’s too tight, it stops looking good.
