Nigeria’s most influential celebrity and Nollywood mega super star, Genevieve Nnaji has gotten more than she ever bargained for, after she showed off her newly acquired cross-breed foreign puppies.
Genevieve whose hair looked the same as the blonde furs of the Lhasa puppies posted the photos of the new babies on her instagram page thereby drawing several reactions from celebrities of all ranks both in Nigeria and world over.
In another image posted on her instagram profile, the celebrity mother of one daughter, Genevieve was carrying one of the puppies and wrote: “πππ―π π π π«πππ π°πππ€!” to her over 8 million fans.
There were several reactions and comments from renown celebrities from Nigeria and abroad including Nollywood superstars, Uche Jumbo and Omotola Jalade Ekeinde whose appraisal comments on the cuties also drew so much responses from fans of both the celebrities.
Uche Jumbo wrote: “You too Asa bekee β€οΈ,” and got many likes on the simple comment personalised in Igbo language.
The African Movie Academy Award for Best Actress winner, Genevieve Nnaji has shown her love for dogs by spending heavily to acquire Lhasa, one of the rarest breeds of dogs in the world; the breed that names like Beyonce and Nicki Minaj also acquired in the past.
While Tibetan mastiff puppy is rated as one of the world’s most expensive dogs selling at over $2million, the Lhasa breeds are considered expensive as well and have become one of the favourites among celebrities.
Lhasa Apso breed of dogs find their roots in Tibet as royal dogs, while taken as designer dogs in the USA.
Genevieve Nnaji’s dogs were estimated to cost up to $10,000. They are friendly dogs and can be expensive to keep and nurture.
